Privacy Policy
This site is intentionally minimal about data collection. No third-party trackers, no advertising networks, no behavioral profiling. Here's what that actually means.
The short version: this site has no third-party analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no third-party cookies. The only information collected is what you choose to send through the contact form, and it's used only to respond to you.
Effective date: May 19, 2026
What this site does not do.
This site does not run any third-party scripts that track, profile, or report on you. Specifically, there is:
- No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any third-party analytics
- No tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, etc.)
- No advertising networks or retargeting tags
- No third-party cookies of any kind
- No social media share widgets that report back to social platforms
- No data brokers, data enrichment services, or lead-generation overlays
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal information — to anyone, for any reason
What’s collected, and why.
The contact form on this site collects only the information you choose to provide. Typical fields include:
- Name — so I know what to call you in my response
- Email address — so I can reply to your inquiry
- Project details you choose to share — so I can give you a useful answer
- Phone number and timeline — optional, only if you provide them
This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if a project moves forward, to facilitate that work. It is not used for marketing, not enrolled in any mailing list, and not shared with any third party.
Server logs.
Like every website, this site’s server keeps standard request logs: IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and the URLs requested. These logs are retained for a short period (typically 30 days) for security monitoring and uptime troubleshooting, then discarded. They are not analyzed for behavioral profiling, not sold, and not shared.
Where the data lives.
Contact form submissions are stored on the same server that hosts this site — a self-managed WordPress installation. Form data is never transmitted to third-party form processors like Formspree, Typeform, HubSpot, or similar services.
Email correspondence (replies and ongoing project communication) flows through standard business email infrastructure. The email provider hosting these mailboxes has its own privacy practices, but no third party processes the contents of your messages beyond standard email delivery.
Cookies.
This site uses only essential cookies for WordPress administration (which are relevant only when I’m logged in to manage the site). There are:
- No tracking cookies
- No analytics cookies
- No advertising cookies
- No third-party cookies
You won’t see a cookie consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to beyond essential site operation.
First-Party Analytics.
This site uses a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool to understand how visitors interact with the content. It operates entirely without cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, and does not track you across other websites. All aggregated data (such as page views, referrers, and device types) is stored securely on our own server and is never shared with or sold to third parties.
Your rights.
Regardless of jurisdiction, if you’ve contacted me through this site, you can:
- Ask what information I have about you
- Request correction of any inaccuracies
- Request deletion of your data
- Request a copy of what’s been submitted
Send any of these requests to [email protected] and I will respond promptly — typically within a few business days.
Children’s privacy.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact me at [email protected] and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be noted in a brief summary at the top of the page for a reasonable period after the change.
